Overview

Join the Utah Valley Symphony as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with an evening of beloved patriotic classics and cherished American musical theatre favorites. Under the direction of conductor Dr. Cheung Chau, the orchestra brings together an eclectic program featuring iconic works from Aaron Copland and Tchaikovsky alongside timeless melodies from Broadway’s greatest musicals.

This special outdoor concert at the Orchard features guest artists Amy Shreeve Keeler and Britani Bateman (soprano) and David Smith (tenor), who will join the orchestra for a joyful celebration of American music and spirit. From the stirring patriotic anthems that define our nation to the soaring melodies of Broadway classics, this concert is a musical tribute to the songs that have shaped American culture and inspired generations.

Perfect for families and music lovers of all ages, this free-to-the-public concert promises an evening of music that celebrates who we are as Americans. Bring a blanket, gather your loved ones, and experience the power of live orchestral music under the stars.

Concert Extras

Free Admission — This concert is free and open to the public. No tickets required!

Outdoor Venue — Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy the music under the stars at the Orchard Concert grounds. In case of weather concerns, check our website or call (801) 877-2559 for updates.

Arrive Early — Gates open at 5:00 pm for our sound check. Arriving early ensures the best seating and gives you time to settle in with family and friends.

What to Bring — Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and any snacks or beverages you’d like to enjoy during the concert. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome.

Family Friendly — This celebratory program features beloved American classics and Broadway favorites perfect for all ages. Children and families are warmly welcome!

Duration — Plan for approximately 90 minutes of music.
